Nike Big Nike “Lil Dez” Quickstrike

This past NBA season was one to remember. Although there were great, memorable games from the first round to the championship, the Nike commercials provided a great sidebar of laughter for all of us; the LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Lil Dez puppets made us not want to leave our seats during timeouts and intermission. Nike has now used the latter puppet as a application design on the Big Nike model. At a first glance, this sneaker seems to be simply designed seeing that it possesses a predominately sport red synthetic leather base; however, it contains many elements that make us wonder if Lil Dez actually got a hold of these. For example, the words, Congrats Kobe are written in white script on the collar areas of both shoes. In addition, one of the insoles reads, “Kobe do you have any new shoes, can I see your shoes?“

Within the past year, we have seen a number of Ohio State Buckeyes inspired sneakers such as the Nike Zoom Soldier II PEs and the Black/Red-White colorway of the Air Force 1 involved in the Nike Air Force 1 “LeBron” Pack. Now, Nike has designed a Blazer Hi model that also features Ohio State inspirations. Coinciding with Ohio State’s color scheme, this particular Blazer Hi possesses a predominately grey base mixed with a vibrant, red sole. However, one of the more interesting features on this shoe is the plethora of stickers seen throughout the upper. If you recall, this attribute is most notably associated with the tradition of slapping a Buckeye sticker on the helmets of top players in the game. Yet, these stickers are skull and crossbones made of barbells with a miniscule football helmet. This Blazer may be fresh enough for even some of you Ann Arbor

Air Jordan 3 Remote Control Car

An Air Jordan 3 R/C Camaro was spotted at Kulture Klash show, where cars meet art. The car was done by Jack Chin, a well respected artist in the art world who decided to lace the Camaro Coupe in cement side paneling and fire red accents. It’s with no pun intended when we say that no car on the streets is “remotely” close to this car. Whileas you may not be able to hit the steets in a life size model of this Air Jordan 3 Camaro anytime soon, one thing is for sure is that this concept is sure to drive any sneakerhead crazy. What do you think of this product and if it were available, would you buy?

Young Jeezy adidas Sneaker Event Recap

You probably never thought da Snowman would ever get his own sneaker, but YEAHHHH, it’s true, Young Jeezy has his own adidas sneaker. Perhaps we should say sneakers since adidas hooked him up with a Forum and Superstar. Well, Jeezy wasn’t the only Def Jam artist to get his own shoe, but yesterday the adidas event was all about Jeezy. The event took place at the adidas Originals store in Lenox Square Mall, so of course TheShoeGame was on hand.

A bunch of Young Jeezy fans and adidas sneakers, that’s the best way to describe the event. Jeezy started signing sneakers and other items as soon as he arrived. We captured most of the highlights from Mr. 17.5’s event which can been seen after the jump. The Young Jeezy adidas Forum and Superstar is now available at adidas Originals accounts.

Did you know “Snowman” is seen on the heel tab of the Superstars?

Nike Blazer High “Fresh Water”

The ‘fresh water’ colorway has been used consistently during this year. Most notably, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 featured this timeless color scheme; however, we have also spotted the Air Max 95, the Air Max Light, and the Alpholution in this colorway. In addition, Nike has unleashed a Blazer model that features the ‘fresh water’ attributes. It features a primarily black leather upper combined with a ‘fresh water’ colored sole. To coincide with the latter area, this shoe also possesses Nike tag logos on the tongue and heel tab in the same color. Other features include a white Nike swoosh (side panels), a suede toe box and minuscule perforations throughout the base. Available now at select Nike retailers
